  1. De verdad, que esperar de los estadounidenses, aqui en España no los cargamos con 5 o más personas como se ha visto en el video. Aqui como mucho llevan a tres que eso el caballo si lo puede soportar, pienso yo.

  2. Fuck that bitch telling the lady to stop recording!
How the fuck does a horse trip on it's self! If a horse tripped it would want to get up! That's fucked up over worked animals ! 😔

  3. Educate yourself people!!! Do not EVER contribute to these cruel industries or you will be part of the cruelty and you are supporting them! This includes riding elephants, camels, going to circuses etc. And if you ever go to a country or place that allows you to pet baby wildlife or swim with dolphins or take pictures with tigers or baby cats, walk away! These are very cruel industries!! Some even drug the animal to keep them complacent and cooperative and like the Tibetan Tigers, they eventually end up being sold to the black markets or used for canned hunting. Take a tour bus or walk!

  4. Guys…THESE HORSES ARE NOT ABUSED, MISTREATED, OR OVERWORKED. There is a lot of ignorance going on here…."I've been going to Charleston for the past 10 years. I have years of experience with horses. I have witnessed how they they take care of their horses and how they operate these tours. These beautiful horses are treated with lots of love and care. And according to a quick google search, this horse just tripped and fell over his own feet. And yes that can happen to horses and it can quickly turn into a panic situation. Horses can just trip over their own feet like people do, it just happens sometimes (and yes I have seen a horse trip before). He was not injured, he only had a few scrapes and he's completely fine. Keep in mind that these are WORK HORSES. Work horses are trained to stay put until their harness is completely removed (this is a safety precaution) that's why he just layed there. They were just giving him water and rubbing his neck to make him feel calm. He wasn't dehydrated or overheated. Also work horses can weigh 1700-2200lbs and can pull up to 4 times their own weight. Work horses can pull thousands of pounds so a carriage full of people doesn't feel like anything to them. These types of horses are born and bred to do stuff like this. Another thing..they only have their horses out 2-3 hours a day or depending on the temperature. Obviously they're not overworked. Horses like this NEED to be taken out for exercise. Believe it or not horse actually like to be taken out, it's not "forced labor" like everyone is calling it. When they notice a horse is getting overheated, they check their temperature, remove their harness, immediately take them back to the stables, and give them plenty of water. Of course horse is going to be agitated until it cools off..horses can be crybabies sometimes. People have also been saying that it is dangerous to have them out in busy traffic..that is actually FALSE in this situation. They are actually taken out in very little traffic where it is mostly walking area. These horses are very calm and very well trained. If it wasn't safe they wouldn't be doing it. These tours are a great opportunity to see and learn more about the city. I've been on several of these tours and I've loved every single one! 🙂 just because a horse is pulling a carriage does not mean it's abuse. People used horses to plow fields and pull carriages all the time back them. Its not abuse or mistreatment at all. these beautiful horses are just doing their job and are very good at it. These horses arel their bread and butter and take excellent care of them. I love horses and I highly recommend going on one of these tours. I know for a fact that they are NOT abused, overworked, or mistreated in any way at all. They are actually taken better care if than most horses. The woman recording this clearly has little or no knowledge about horses. People please do not be manipulated by the media…great example of ignorance.

  5. People forget that very few laws protect horses. Paying for the carriage rides is prompting for more abuse like this to continue to happen. It's like the race horse industry, they open the stables to the public only after everything has been cleaned, so that people who stop by see what they want to see but not what happens behind the scenes. It's heartbreaking that horses have to live in such conditions with out a say in what happens to there life

  6. BAN this to much of this is happening. To long of shifts, heat, cold, hard surfaces that hurt tendons and bones. Not enough to eat or drink at times .justice.

  7. LOL you horse Tards know nothing about horses… If anything that horse was FAT,over fed (probably bystanders feeding it candy) and under worked… A horse in good athletic shape could run around that park for 8 hours and hardly break a sweat

  8. That horse is over worked, plus there are way to many people in the carriage for the horse to pull. That is a two horse carriage for that many people on it.

  9. boah also heavy when people that don't know about horses comment.
Its an animal and it happens that it collapses or falls as happens to people for differen reasons. should not happen but does. Horses allways worked they can do in cities, but they must be well trained mentaly and from body. this one looked quite fat again, untrained.

  10. I swear to god that the only people making such a huge bitch about the carriage industry as a whole know absolute nothing about horses! If this horse had tried to get up rather than waiting for help to have the harness removed from the shafts, then it could have been seriously harmed and made the situation much much worse! I own a horse and I drive her. Shit happens yes, but there is a very good reason why we call carriage horses "bomb proof." it's because they have to be ready for absolutely anything! And have complete trust in their human. That's why this horse didn't get up! Because it was safer not too! Grow up you idiot horse "advocates " I doubt you even know what a horses stifle is! Don't google it because your just proving my point.

  11. "The horse tripped." Bullshit, when a horse slips and goes down they get right back up. They dont lay there lifelessly. Something was clearly wrong with that horse.

  12. If you know anything about horses you'll know that if a horse falls their first instinct is to get back up, they're prey animals and being on the ground puts them in a more vulnerable state. If this horse did fall, it would try to do everything it could to get back up, but it can't. Guys this horse didn't fall, it most likely collapsed because of over heating, exhaustion, and it was probably way too over worked to where the heart can't pump enough blood to the horses brain, causing it's legs to give out and not trying to get up. The horse is a Belgian draft horse, they are one of the most popular horse breeds for work, but constantly pulling people around in a heavy carriage for 6 to 8 hours a day is entirely to much. A horse drinks around 20 gallons of water a day, maybe even more, and if the horse is constantly pulling people around, there's no way that horse is getting enough water. This is horrific, why do people need to use animals for stupid resons, you wanna get around town, get off your lazy ass and start walking, don't make animals do it for you. This needs to stop, we have so many other ways to get around, and we don't need to keep making animals do it for us. Come on people, have some mercy towards animals, enjoy their presence, don't make them carry you around all day.

  13. It's got to be a grand affair to weigh a ton and have steel nailed to your hooves and then try to stay upright on pavement.
I saw an Amish horse take a corner one day and slipped on some rocks that were on the pavement then get back up. They didn't even stop to check it out.
And everybody would think that those people know horses. Even more so than these bungelers.
So apparently horses that trip stumble and fall are just like a car that misses for a second.
Yuh just gotta rev it up and say it needs the cobs blown out of it is all.
I've seen the Amish horses have traction problems going up hills. And going down they just let the horse hold all the weight of the carriage. Those horses are always slipping.
I've seen then dart into the road when being driven on the side to allow cars to pass.
And I would say those people know horses more than anybody in this country.
I've seen their horse in weed choked fields puking. I've never seen a horse puke, never even know they did, but I saw a horse puke. I've seen horse limping around. I've seen horse in mud lots. In fact 90% of the horses I see are in mud lots with broken concrete sticking out that they have to walk around.
Horses are herd animals that graze. WTF.
Concrete dirt/mud lots or a friggin stable for life. Anybody who says this is right is a meat eater. And in a heartbeat they would eat a horse if starving. Other life means nothing to them, just money, happiness and narcissism.

  14. Stop abusing those
    Horses.
    They carry almost
    3.000.00 thousands pound.
    This is a crime and
    Abuse against these
    Horses.
These poor horses suffer hunger abuse
Desease and the consequence of the hot and the cold freezing weather.

    STOP ABUSING HORSES…..Now !!!!
    CENTRAL PARK/
    59 STREET NY NY
    SHAME SHAME ON
    YOU…..criminals!!!
    xiomara

  15. Stop, Just stop, You little snowflakes of society don't understand anything, You complain about everything, This isn't abuse, They were bred for this, Most of you are saying this is abuse need to do your research and actually go to a stable where they keep these draft horses, Then you'll see. So otherwise shut your traps and do research before commenting "This is abuse!"

  16. This horse most likely got a virus from a mosquito as, they are exposed to the critters at critical times of a day when the mosquitos are active. West Nile virus and St Louis enchaphalitis are a few diseases that horses are prone to carried by mosquitos. With these diseases a horse could be so fatigued, it would just fall over and lay lethargically, not having the strength to get up or even move for a long time. Some horses, just like people with West Nile, don't ever recover and will just die.

  17. I've never been more disappointed in the human race than reading youtube comments on videos like this and seeing the ignorance shine like a supernova.

  18. The horse Didn’t just Freaking fall it laid down because of tiredness I hate those idiots who make horses pull around carriages all day than when a Horse dies everyone blames it on the horse stupid ass people

  19. Wtf is not the 1800s anymore like tf y'all need to get your ass up and walk you lazy ass bitches poor horse I don't imaging what the horse is saying in his mine like plz kill me

  20. I saw Conan (I think it was)knock a horse out in the movie, maybe some one knocked this horse the fuck out lolololol. Getcho ass up lolololol!!!

  21. r.i.p horsey I'm sorry humanity lost touch with their inner love and compassion . u make money for them n they have love.. justice prevail 2018 believe. love n justice n bravery is the only. way

  22. Feed it water, her face looks like a damn horse ,and those emphasized words she’s worried about the horse being in a urban environment lol I bet that horse just said fuck this bitch she can walk herself I’m taking a nap

  23. Looks like it’s collapsed from overwork, heat and lack of hydration. One of many abused horses who work in city centres worldwide.

  24. But…horses have been bred to haul these kind of things. They’ve been bred that way for hundreds of years. This isn’t abuse, it’s just an over dramatic horse.

  25. FUCK EVERY PEOPLE who has the need to get on horse carriage in 108F‼️ oh and most of all FUCK THE OWNER OF THE HORSE!!!
