Horse Riding Confidence Quick Tip – When You’re Not Riding Regularly

here with a quick tip to help with your winter riding. Well, actually … it’s not your riding
so much in the winter. Because a lot of us don’t have access to an indoor arena, or the
footing’s bad, or it’s just too cold to ride. Or, you know, there’s always those winter
storms that interfere with our time in the saddle, as well. So, what to do with all that
time off to help your confidence? So when you get back in the saddle in the spring,
if you’ve had a lot of time off, that can often leave you feeling a little shaky. So,
what you can do is focus on exercises that build your core strength, improve your balance
and your suppleness (Hi Whitley Bay – who really wants my attention.) So, focus on building
your core strength, your balance and your suppleness – all things you need in the saddle.
And while you’re doing those exercises – which can be a yoga class, a pilates class (she
really wants my attention). Or even on an exercise ball at home – visualise yourself
riding off into the sunset on your beautiful mare or gelding in the spring. And by the
time you get back in the saddle, you’ll be feeling physically and mentally more prepared.
