Horse Saved From Raging River After Two Hour Battle With Current

COMM: A helpless horse desperately tries to reach the shore as a river’s current pulls

COMM: The exhausted filly was stranded in Trout Creek in Summerland, British Columbia
when a local woman spotted her and called O.A.T.S Horse Rescue. 00:27
COMM: Theresa Nolet from Ontario, Canada, captured the amazing rescue as volunteers,
fire fighters and police officers attempted to pull the exhausted horse out of the cold

COMM: Using a piece of plywood covered in tarpaulin they managed to successfully guide
the horse out of the strong currents and warm her up with blankets. 00:55
COMM: The horse later named Rivers, is now safe and living with a foster family.
