How to Make a Horse Head Sculpture : Sculpting the Basic Layers of a Horse Head

Next we are going to cut slabs of clay. And
we are going to put it on top of the structure I already made. This helps to get the slabs
more or less same thickness. We are going to need more than one, more than two. One
of the tricks that I want to, always I repeat it, but its never, is work on the duck cloth
or uti or sack or something because it absorbs the moist of the clay and avoid that its stuck
there and then problems of cleaning and this really great stuff. Okay this is going to
be a whole lot. Anyway, now we’re going to start putting clay around here for the neck.
We’re going
to roll this and then we’re going to press and hold this together okay. We’re going to
make a whole head in order to fast the drying and also if you want to fire the kiln you
can do that. Now we are just pressing this. Let me put this on top of that rolling table,
that end because you will see better what I am doing here. We have to press this in
order to fix it. Its not going to collapse we have to build this up.
