  1. This is what Taylor Swift would sound like if she didn’t ditch her country roots. And, if she was talented.

  2. She looks just like Kyle Richards! I think Kacey is crazy talented as a songwriter and she's beautiful but she always comes across as kind of soft and flat to me. her voice is weak, lacks depth and her face always seems so dead and expressionless to me. Her "dancing" is so awkward and mild.

  3. I just discovered her a few days ago and I think her musics feels like something very sweet, new, fresh and innocent. I think we need more music like that and singers like her! It has a taste of 90s music where everything were way more joyful and POP than now!

  4. ZacharyFiorido. I'm glad you find it to be a very good, but the fact that she targets the wild west and how John Wayne portrayed life in the day. This mulit-cultural liberal white washing trash portrays him as a high class celebrity. I know the man and who this man John Way portrayed back in the early 1800's, the show was a transcript by the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes in Oklahoma. The mam portrayed was pushed in-between the business man and the Indians. For her to make the man into something he's not is disingenuous and ambiguously white washing history the Chieftains life and their interactions of a man who did everything he could to do what was right. The man was eventually shot in the back by foreigners who were non white. He died as he lived, bigger than life. Before you go praising this multicultural terrorist, you best educate yourself with the real history of what the character of "JOHN WAYNE" was written after.. The Left wing media and others from Hollywood had left out many key personalities of the original text at how he was originally written in the chieftains journals. But I find this song to be bashing white people in general by the lyrics and words used targeting the era knows as the "Wild West"

  5. Nice voice, nice song, terrible stage presence, she looks so uncomfortable, cant dance, walking awkwardly from spot to spot.

  6. I am a new fan.. Saw her on SNL . Great voice ,Song and beauty,, I love when artist expand a Genre ….this Country meets disco is kicking !!!!!

  7. I love how in every live performance she does she's wearing an outfit to match the retro seventies vibe of the song

  8. This is a quality pop song but there really isn't anything separating her from the pack of pop stars. If an artist doesn't have strong vocals they better have energy and stage presence. Something she lacks.

  9. Love it!!! Finally, better country music! I see her being another Shania! I just love her songs!

  10. I wondered upon Ms. Musgraves music . I like her mellow, relaxing mezzo soprano voice. After watching her perform live, she is so lacking on vocals and enthusiasm. I like her songs but she has no stage presence.

  11. A brilliant artist from her writing to her gorgeous voice, Kacey is amazing. She is so gorgeous too and so damn underrated

  12. I 1st heard this song while working at Starbucks. Immediately I had to have this song. I've never heard of her before, but I'm very open to music, as I have so many songs by alot of artists…I love this song and I have it on repeat on my phone..its groovy and gets me up and moving

  13. This performance is kind of boring and the vocal is kinda sucking the life out of it. It's just weird. Love the song, just something weird with the vocal.

  14. Great song.far better than that Ya Ho music mainly confined to the USA market. if she sings pop rock jazz she would open up to a World wide audience which her talent richly deserves !

  15. Wow, weak vocals and not even close to country. Seventies dance music mixed with weak sounding Katy Perry crap. Anyone actually believing this is good must be a millennial. Reba, Trisha even Shania can do better than this and that is saying something. Time for country to take back it’s roots and flush out these wannabe pop nobodies

  16. Is there supposed to be a double meaning to this? I never got it till the way she pronounces it live..i'm hearing "u and ur high whores" ??

  17. Oh, I bet you think you're John Wayne
Showing up and shooting down everybody
You're classic in the wrong way
And we all know the end of the story

'Cause everyone knows someone who kills the buzz
Every time they open up their mouth
Yeah, everyone knows someone who knows someone
Who thinks they're cooler than everybody else

And I think we've seen enough, seen enough
To know that you ain't ever gonna come down
So, why don't you giddy up, giddy up
And ride straight out of this town
    You and your high horse
    You and your high horse

I bet you think you're first place
Yeah, someone should give you a ribbon
And put you in the hall of fame
For all the games that you think that you're winning

'Cause everyone knows someone who kills the buzz
Every time they open up their mouth
Yeah, everyone knows someone who knows someone
Who thinks they're cooler than everybody else

And I think we've seen enough, seen enough
To know that you ain't ever gonna come down
So, why don't you giddy up, giddy up
And ride straight out of this town
    You and your high horse
    You and your high horse

Darling, you take the high horse and I'll take the high road
If you’re too good for us, you’ll be good riding solo

Yeah, I think we've seen enough, seen enough
To know that you ain't ever gonna come down
So, why don't you giddy up, giddy up
And ride straight out of this town
    You and your high horse
    You and your high horse

    High horse
You ain’t ever gonna come down
You ain’t ever gonna come down

  18. She’s so beautiful! She inspires me so much and I love this song! Her voice is so beautiful in and out of the studio.

  19. Thank goodness for shows like Ellen that promote awesome tracks like High Horse!
Although I saw it through Youtube, nonetheless, music like this with meaning like this (NPD) needs more coverage in every outlet.
