Revelation 6 First Seal, A Prophet Comes (Rider on the White Horse)!

September 3, 2019

Revelation 6, The rider on the white horse. Hi, this is George Chuang. The rider on the white horse is one of the
most intriguing characters in the bible. These are the 4 main views on him. First, he is Jesus Christ. Second, he is antichrist. And this is the view of mainstream Christianity
today. Jesus Christ and antichrist are complete opposites. How do people confuse this I have no clue. The bible is never vague on these issues. Third, the rider represents the victorious
gospel. Fourth, the rider represents false religion. Again, the true gospel and false religion
are complete opposites. How are people confusing these two? This tells me Satan is clearly at work trying
to confuse people about who this rider is. The views people hold are on complete opposite
ends. And these are the views people hold and discuss. Now I’m going to tell you, they’re all wrong! I’m going to share with you who he really
is. Are you ready? He is the end time prophet. Jesus calls him Elijah the prophet. He is the forerunner to Christ’s second coming. We studied in Revelation 5 that Jesus takes
the scroll from God the father, which is sealed with 7 seals. The scroll is the right to judge the earth. Once those seals are open the judgement begins. So at the very beginning, when Jesus is about
to kick start end time events, Jesus breaks the first seal and this rider is immediately
sent out. His job is two-fold. Number one, is to prepare the church for the
rapture. Number two, is to conquer the world for Jesus. Finish taking the gospel to the rest of the
world because the gospel must be preached to all the nations then the end will come. There shall be no stopping him because Jesus
is coming. He is the forerunner to Christ second coming. Let’s start in Revelation 6 verses 1 and 2. Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the
seals; and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder,
“Come and see.” (Or in some translations it says come) And I looked, and behold, a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was
given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. Now these four living creatures are before
the throne of God. We discussed this in Revelation 4
They have six wings. They could be seraphim or some class of angels
we don’t know about. The King James calls these angelic beings
beasts. The New King James calls them living creatures. Creatures might be a better translation for
our understanding. Three have faces of an animal and one has
the face of a man. The faces are a lion, a calf, a man, and an
eagle. These beings are around the throne of God
and they praise the Lord day and night. Also, they are able to speak. They are not some unintelligent beast. The word used for them is the Greek word “zoon.” The reason I don’t like the word beast here
is because later the antichrist will be called a beast. Same word in English, but different word in
Greek. The antichrist is not a “zoon,” but a “therion.” A “therion” is a wild beast, which can be
dangerous and ferocious. You read it in English and say, “Oh, look
it’s a beast here and it’s a beast there, it’s the same thing.” But in the Greek it is not so. And some bible teachers have said look it’s
a beast that says “Come!” this is none other than antichrist. No! These four creatures are holy and they praise
the Lord day and night. So Jesus breaks open the first seal and the
first living creature who is around the throne of God, he says with a voice like thunder,
“Come and see!” Come and see this guy John! Some translations just say, “Come!” If it’s “Come,” then it’s with a voice like
thunder telling the rider, “Come! Now is the time! Come forth!” None of the other riders are announced with
a voice like thunder. Thunder in the bible is always a good thing. That’s why there is always thunder and lightning
before the throne of God. So Jesus breaks open the first seal and the
very first event to start the whole thing is a man on a white horse who is announced
with a voice like thunder! This is a guy you want to see. This is a guy heaven wants to appear and Jesus
has been waiting to send him. In Revelation 6, the time has come. Jesus has been waiting to take the scroll
from the Father, so He can break these seals. The first one goes and a voice like thunder,
“Come!” “Come and see!” John says, “And I looked, and behold, a white
horse.” Now many bible teachers will tell you,
[speaking with funny voice] “Look it says a white horse this is clearly antichrist. How do we know it’s antichrist? Because Jesus appears in Revelation 19 on
a white horse. Look what it says in Revelation 19. Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white
horse. Behold a white horse. Now look what it says in Revelation 6. And I looked, and behold, a white horse, a
white horse. Not a…WHITE…HORSE. It says behold, a white horse. You see how it’s antichrist. It’s clearly fake. It’s a white horse, not A WHITE HORSE. You see how it’s fake? He’s an imposter. He’s so good that even Jesus is deceived into
thinking the horse is white, but it’s not. It’s fake.” No! Jesus is not deceived! Jesus is the one telling you the horse is
white! This book starts with “The Revelation of Jesus
Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants.” Jesus is the one revealing to you the horse
is white. Jesus is not deceived. He is making this very clear. He’s not trying to trick you. Bible imagery is not that difficult to understand. It really isn’t. A beast, therion, a wild ferocious dangerous
beast. That’s bad! Revelation 12:9
“So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives
the whole world.” A dragon called the Devil and Satan, that’s
bad, very bad. Revelation 13:11
“Then I saw another beast (therion, wild beast) coming up out of the earth, and he had two
horns like a lamb (oh good) and spoke like a dragon (oh bad).” Very bad! This guy sounds like a deceiver. Two horns like a lamb and spoke like a dragon. See bible imagery is not that difficult. How many of you watching this video are confused
right now because bible imagery is difficult to understand, raise your hand? A dragon called the devil and Satan? Is that good or bad? If you still have your hand raised, put it
down, put it down. No one sees you anyways. You’re watching a video. But if that’s you with your hand raised and
you can’t understand why a beast is bad, a dragon is bad, a white horse is good, how
can anyone open your eyes. This a case of the blind leading the blind. The theme of the color white in the bible
is always good. It symbolizes purity and holiness. Daniel 7:9 And the Ancient of Days was seated;
His garment was white as snow. Daniel 12:10 Many shall be purified, made
white, and refined. Concerning Jesus in Revelation 1:14. His head and hair were white like wool, as
white as snow. Revelation 3:5 He who overcomes shall be clothed
in white garments. Revelation 19:14 And the armies in heaven,
clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. The color white is a very consistent theme
in the bible. It never changes. The color white should not confuse you. Some bible teachers will try to trip you up
saying it symbolizes deception. Now some people say, George your mocking tone
is brutal and not Christ-like. But you know what, sometimes you have to be
firm and it does sound brutal. It’s like the apostle Paul with the Judaizers. Judaizers were those who taught men must keep
the law of Moses and be circumcised to be saved. Paul says, hey they want to trouble you with
circumcision. I wish they would go even further and just
cut the whole thing off. Phhhlp. Cut if off man. Don’t stop at the foreskin take off the whole
penis. Sometimes you need to exaggerate to really
get through to people because they have been so blinded by bad teaching. Sometimes you need to employ the method of
Elijah. When Elijah challenged the false prophets
of Baal he mocked them. Maybe your god is in deep thought or taking
a poo. You should cry louder. And he said these things to them so all those
there could hear and understand how utterly foolish their actions are. Do you really think your god can’t hear you
because you aren’t crying loud enough? And after Elijah mocked them they cried louder
and cut themselves with knives and lances until the blood gushed out. Elijah may have thought, “Are you serious? How foolish these people are. There’s no talking sense into them.” And no matter how clear and obvious the text
is in Revelation 6, I won’t be able to talk sense into some of these bible teachers. But for those of you who are considering the
matter, may you see the foolishness of some of these teachings. Now I want to be careful here because I also
believe God has purposely allowed the church to be blinded on this text. So when the rider appears only those who are
in tune with the Holy Spirit will see the truth. Everyone else will remain blinded. It’s a way to separate the sheep and the goats,
and prepare the true church for the rapture. When Jesus opens that first seal, the prophet
will appear and declare who he is. He will preach repentance and the coming of
the Lord Jesus for his bride. And the Lord will confirm him with signs and
wonders like you’ve never seen before. Those who are not of God will say he is a
false prophet because he is claiming to be the rider on the white horse. They’ll say, “We know the rider is antichrist
and so he’s an antichrist because he’s claiming to be the rider. He’s working false miracles by the power of
the devil.” It’s like the days of John the Baptist. All the common people who could hear from
God understood John’s message. Whereas the bible teachers, the Pharisees,
the Sadducees, and such were mostly blinded. Let’s continue, And I looked, and behold,
a white horse. He who sat on it had a bow. I’ve heard other pastors teach this bow is
a rainbow. You know, John wrote the entire book of Revelation. John writes about a rainbow in Revelation
4:3 and 10:1. John uses the word “iris” for rainbow. Revelation 4:3 And He who sat there was like
a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow (iris) around the
throne, in appearance like an emerald. Two chapters later John sees this rider and
says he has a “toxon” not an “iris” A toxon is a bow, as in bow and arrow. So some bible teachers say, “Ah, he has a
bow but no arrows are mentioned.” He conquers without arrows. His bow is a covenant of peace. It’s conquest without war. Do you have any idea how many times a bow
is used in the scriptures without mentioning arrows? It’s all over the bible. Show me one place in the bible where a bow,
the weapon, is symbolic of a covenant of peace or show me one place where a bow means conquest
without war. Show me one place, anyplace in the bible. You’ll never find it because it’s absolute
nonsense. They made it up. They are making this stuff up to force fit
into their theology. They believe the first seal is the beginning
of the great tribulation and so the rider must be antichrist. Whatever the text says they must force the
antichrist into the symbolism. If the text says the rider is faithful and
true they would say, “He’s pretending to be faithful and true just like his pretend and
fake white horse.” They have to force the meaning in even if
that means to break bible symbolisms. Nowhere in the book of Revelation does it
say the first seal is the antichrist. Jesus is more than happy to tell you who the
dragon is, who the beast is, and who the harlot is. Jesus doesn’t leave you guessing. You shouldn’t even have to guess if this rider
is good or bad because a white horse is obviously good. Did you have to guess about the beast, the
dragon, and the harlot, if they were good or bad? No, because it’s obvious from the text. And you shouldn’t have to guess about a white
horse either. Jesus comes from heaven on a white horse. The saints come with Jesus on white horses. This guy from the first seal is on a white
horse. There shouldn’t even be a debate whether a
white horse is good or bad. It’s obviously good! Why is this rider the first to come on a white
horse? Because Elijah must come first. He is the sign of the coming Messiah. Messiah will be coming on a white horse, so
the Elijah forerunner is seen as coming on a white horse. He’s the sign of the coming Messiah. [Funny voice] “But you didn’t read it right. It says a white horse, not A WHITE HORSE! See how it’s fake. Napoleon rode a white horse. Let me quote Shakespeare.” Beloved, that’s called reading into the text
to change the meaning of what it says. Don’t buy into it. Take the text as it is. I don’t care what sources outside of the bible
say when the bible interprets itself clearly and plainly. The only time we use outside sources is when
the bible is not clear. Such as when a word is used only one time
in the New Testament and we want to see how it was used during that time period. Other than that, I don’t really care what
Socrates says or what Shakespeare says or any other secular source. If the bible interprets itself than stick
with that. What does a bow represent in the bible? It represents strength and might. Jacob said concerning Joseph in Genesis 49,
“The archers have bitterly grieved him, Shot at him and hated him. But his bow remained in strength.” That is Joseph remained in strength. The bible teachers of today would say, “Joseph’s
bow remained in strength because he didn’t have any arrows to go with his bow. His bow was never used. No arrows are mentioned.” That would be ridiculous, right? Jacob said to Joseph in Genesis 48:22, “Moreover
I have given to you one portion above your brothers, which I took from the hand of the
Amorite with my sword and my bow.” Bible teachers of today could say, “Look,
no arrows are mentioned. But Jacob took it with his bow. He hit that Amorite with his bow until a peace
treaty and a covenant was signed. Sign the thing. You want more of this?
Huh, huh. Come on! Whack! Sign it! Now no bible teacher would actually ever teach
that because it’s so foolish. However, they do it to the rider on the white
horse because like I said earlier, they need to make him antichrist. So they change the meaning of the white horse
and the meaning of the bow. Jeremiah 49:35 says, “Thus says the
LORD of hosts: ‘Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the foremost of their might.'” What is the bow of Elam? It is the foremost of their might. It’s their strength. Hosea 1:5 it says, “It shall come to pass
in that day that I will break the bow of Israel in the Valley of Jezreel.” What’s the bow of Israel? It’s the strength of Israel. A bow always symbolizes strength and might. It has nothing to do with a covenant or a
peace treaty. Always let the bible interpret the bible. If the bible represents white as good then
don’t listen to anyone who perverts that theme. If the bible represents a bow as strength
then don’t receive a teaching that tries to change that. This rider on the white horse is a man of
strength, which is represented by a bow in his hand. Let’s continue, and a crown was given to him. Now who gives him the crown? Well, who’s opening the seals? Jesus is. It is the Lord who will give him the crown. Now who gives the beast, the antichrist, authority? It’s the dragon, Satan. Revelation 13:2, “The dragon gave him his
power, his throne, and great authority.” [Rev. 13:4] “So they worshiped the dragon
who gave authority to the beast.” Who calls the rider on the white horse forward? Heaven sends this guy. From the command of God this rider goes forth. Do the four living creatures speak on their
own authority? No, they speak on God’s behalf. So God says it’s time to send this guy out. Jesus breaks the first seal. Then one of the living creatures says with
a booming voice like thunder, “Come! Now is the time to go forth and conquer!” And he goes out conquering and to conquer. Now where does the beast come from? Does he come from heaven? No! He comes from the bottomless pit. The beast is not announced by any angelic
being from heaven. Now the crown the rider receives is the Greek
word “stephanos.” It is a wreath type crown. Whenever you read about a believer receiving
a crown it is the word stephanos. It is the crown of a victor, an overcomer,
a champion. A stephanos is promised to believers who are
victorious in the bible. A stephanos is given only to Christians and
is worn only by believers. There is another word for crown in Greek and
that is “diadema.” A crown with diadems. The beast wears a diadema. He doesn’t wear a stephanos because a stephanos
is only worn by believers. A diadema is the crown of an earthly ruler
or king. Jesus can be found in scripture wearing both
a diadema and a stephanos because Jesus is both an overcomer and a king. So the rider on the white horse gets a stephanos
while he’s still on earth. It’s a sign of his exalted rank and that he’s
an overcomer in Christ. Nowhere in scripture has anyone been given
a crown while they’re still on earth. What will the crown and his exalted rank enable
him to do? I don’t know. It’s going to be very interesting to find
out what happens and what he will do. Let’s continue, “and a crown was given to
him, and he went out conquering and to conquer.” The word conquer there is the Greek word “nikao.” It means to overcome, be victorious. If you remember our study on the 7 churches,
you will remember that to every church Jesus tells them to overcome, to nikao. He says this to every church. Jesus says it seven times. Then in Revelation 5, it says Jesus has overcome. Jesus has nikao. Then Jesus takes the scroll because he has
nikao and He breaks the first seal. Then this rider comes out and he goes forth
nikao-ing and to nikao. It’s a play on words. He goes out conquering and to conquer. It’s redundant to say the same thing, but
the emphasis is he is an overcomer. He goes out overcoming and to overcome. Let nothing stop him from fulfilling his mission. May he be invincible in the power of God. Now some have linked what Jesus said in Matthew
24 to the 4 horsemen of Revelation. There is some truth to that but let us examine
the words of the Lord. The disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24:3,
“Now as He sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell
us, when will these things be? And what will be the sign of Your coming,
and of the end of the age?'” Jesus says, “For many will come in My name,
saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many.” Jesus says many will come, not one will come.
Many! So some pastors link the 1st seal with a deceiver. But this is not about the 1st seal. The Lord continues, “And you will hear of
wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these
things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.” Let me tell you, when Jesus breaks open that
first seal the end is just around the corner. You better not say to yourself, “Oh Jesus
said the end is not yet.” No, Jesus will be coming for His bride real
soon when He opens that first seal. The Lord continues, “For nation will rise
against nation, and kingdom against kingdom (this sounds like the second seal). And there will be famines (this sounds like
the third seal), pestilences, and earthquakes in various places (this sounds like the fourth
seal, the fourth seal brings death). All these are the beginning of sorrows.” So Jesus is just telling you what to expect
when he is about to come. Matthew 24 is not about the seven seals and
the four horsemen. It’s just what to expect when the Lord is
about to come. So when you see these events happening after
the Lord opens the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th seals then know these are the beginning of sorrows
and the end is around the corner. It’s a summary of what to expect to see before
His coming. It’s not about the four horsemen and not about
seals 1, 2, 3, and 4. But when the first 4 seals have been opened
you will see this summary take place. And of course you’ll see much more than that. Matthew 24 is just a very basic summary of
end time events that we should expect to see. When Jesus says many will come in My name,
he adds the end is not yet. It’s not even close. But when you see the wars, famine, and death
then know this is the beginning of sorrows. The great tribulation being the ultimate sorrow. The end time forerunner is not even mentioned
here. And for good reason. Although there are so many prophecies concerning
him, it appears the Lord wants to keep the time of his appearing hidden. And that’s another reason why I believe the
Lord has allowed the church to believe the 1st seal is the antichrist or the spirit of
deception. It’s to keep him hidden until it’s show time. The same was true for John the Baptist. He was hidden in the scripture until it was
show time. Then when he appeared everyone started talking
and wondering, “Who is this guy?” It’s to separate the sheep and the goats. You see, if this rider his appearing was expected
and well-known in the church, when he appears everyone would hop on board. All the sheep and the goats would say, “Yup,
we were expecting him.” But by keeping him hidden only those who are
in tune with the Holy Spirit will understand. Just like it was in the days of John the Baptist. So here’s the summary, when it’s time to start
end time events. Jesus will take the scroll from the Father. He needs to open all the seals and then judgment
of the earth will begin. But before He judges the earth and pours out
His wrath, He will get his bride. So Jesus takes the scroll. He breaks open the first seal. When He does that, one of the four living
creatures, who are before the throne of God, says with a voice like thunder, “Come! Come and see!” And the Lord’s end time Elijah forerunner
appears on a white horse. He has a bow in his hand. A symbol of his might. The Lord gives him a victor’s crown! The crown of an overcomer. His crown will symbolize his exalted rank. He will lead God’s people just like Moses
and Elijah. And he goes out conquering and to conquer,
for it is written: “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached
in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come.” The time should not be far off. God bless you guys! Sorry for the late video this month. I took the family to Taiwan earlier this month. I feel the Lord may be leading me to relocate
my family to Taiwan. I’ll just have to see where God leads me this
year. Where God guides, God provides. And if God is willing perhaps I will plant
a church in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. I’ve had this in my heart for many years,
but it’s all in God’s hands. This is George Chuang teaching from China. If you haven’t subscribed yet please hit that

  1. Name one place in the bible where a BOW mean conquest without war:
    Genesis 49:23-24
But the archers kept harassing him and shot at him and kept harboring animosity against him. 24 And yet his bow was dwelling in a permanent place, and the strength of his hands was supple.
They shoot arrows at him but, he doesn't shoot back!
But hey, he does have a BOW and a CROWN and is prophesied to play a significant role in the final part of the days.
He brings enormous blessings! Even though they shoot at him!
Joseph is the rider on the white horse.

  2. Not saying I agree or disagree with this teaching but I have a few questions. The Bible uses the word "nikao" to refer to the (beast) antichrist in Revelation 11:7 and 13:7.

The Bible also uses the word "Stephanos" in Revelation 9:7 referring to the locusts from the abyss. EDIT: Just watched your other video where you explain "As it were". Makes sense.

Do you have clarification for the first two verses I listed?

  3. Bible or tradition channel has a video for each of the horses. He says the crown is a wreath crown like the Caesars. I wonder if there will be sort of reenactment of the seals in the final days. We need to be able to understand the past 2000 years to see what lies before us.

  4. The rider on the white horse is the anti christ coming as Christ . The end time prophet is not coming conquering and to conquer. Nor does the end time prophet have a crown. Did John the baptist conquer? No prophets prophecy. The anti christ comes in peace therefore the bow with no arrow.

  5. White horse rider

    Rev 6:1-2
1And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, Come.
2And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and he that sat thereon had a bow; and there was given unto him a crown: and he came forth conquering, and to conquer.

    1. The four living beings appear in order as a lion, a calf, a man, and a flying eagle.
    2. Each one announces a horseman.
    3. The first, the lion, announces the white horse.
    4. The second, the calf, announces the red horse.
    5. The third, the man, announces the black horse.
    6. The fourth, the flying eagle, announces the pale horse.
    7. The lion has a voice of thunder. The others do not.

    1Sam 7:10
but the LORD thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines,

    Jeremiah 25:30
The LORD will roar from on high; he will thunder from his holy dwelling
    Job 40:90
have you a voice of thunder like his?

The creatures are seemingly the same as Ezekiel saw in Ezekiel Chapter 1, where he describes each beast (living being) as having 4 faces each. The lion on the right, the calf on the left, the man, and the eagle. So perhaps John in Revelation is seeing each beast with a different face facing him. They each have 6 wings now instead of four.

So the lion face (tribe of Judah) announces in a thundering voice like
the Lord announces the white horse and its rider.

Who is specified as riding a white horse in Rev 19:11? Jesus, called Faithful and True.

He had a bow (toxon). He wasn’t given a bow. He HAD a bow. Many think this is a weapon. It is not. This is the only place in Scripture this word is used. Here is the Greek Strongs definition. Strange it doesn’t mention a weapon. It does say fabric which is also strange.

    5115 τόξον [TO/CON] {tóxon} tox'-on
from the base of 5088; a bow (apparently as the simplest fabric):–bow

    But look at this:
Toxo is the “bow” part of rainbow in Greek

The rider takes back the rainbow, Gods visible promise to mankind in the sky.

The rider is then GIVEN a crown (stephanos) indicating He is royalty.

    4735 στέφανος [STE/FANOS] {stéphanos} stef'-an-os
from an apparently primary στέφω [STE/FW] {stéphō} (to twine or wreathe); a chaplet (as a badge of ROYALTY, a prize in the public games or a symbol of honor

    He goes out Conquering (nikao)
    3528 νικάω [NIKA/W] {nikáō} nik-ah'-o
from 3529; to subdue (literally or figuratively):–conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory.

    Conquering what?

    And to conquer (hina nikao)
    2443 ἵνα [I(/NA] {hína} hin'-ah
probably from the same as the former part of 1438 (through the demonstrative idea; compare 3588); in order that (denoting the purpose or the result):–albeit, because, to the intent (that), lest, so as, (so) that, (for) to.
    1438 means HIMSELF

    3528 νικάω [NIKA/W] {nikáō} nik-ah'-o
from 3529; to subdue (literally or figuratively):–conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory.

So the rider goes out to conquer as He Himself conquered. Conquered what?

    1Cor 15:55
“O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”

The rider is Jesus, conquering death by resurrecting his saints. We know who else meets them in the air. Us. We who will not die but be changed.

One other point about the word toxon (). According to Strongs it is from the base word “tikto” which has a very interesting definition.

    5088 τίκτω [TI/KTW] {tíktō} tik'-to
    a strengthened form of a primary τέκω [TE/KW] {tékō} tek'-o
(which is used only as alternate in certain tenses); to produce (from seed, as a mother, a plant, the earth, etc.), literally or figuratively:–bear, be born, bring forth, be delivered, be in travail.

  6. The yearlong Day of the Lord comes after the great tribulation. The yearlong Day of the Lord is the wrath of God.

  7. Tribulation started 8-4-2018

    Great Tribulation starts 1-14-2022 AD

Yearlong Day of the Lord starts when all elect changed 8-1-2025 AD. Elect wait forty days and forty nights in their glorified bodies then go to the
    Marriage Supper 9-10-2025 AD

    Peace on Earth 8-1-2026 AD

From start of tribulation until Peace on Earth is eight years x 365, Days = 2,920, Days.
