I’ll show you how to win the horse-races in The Witcher 3. For this you need a good
saddle and a simple strategy! I use the Zerrikanian saddle for my horse
– it provides 80 stamina. I read about this saddle providing only 60; informations aren’t
coherent on this subject, as well concerning the locations where to get it. Anyway: If
your saddle provides 60 to 80 stamina, that would be fine – no matter which one it is
at the end of day. During the race the most crucial thing is
to save your horse’s stamina. It provides you the speed you need to overtake your opponents,
otherwise you won’t have a good chance to win. But most of the racetracks are longer
than your stamina would last (to deal with this is the difficulty in these races, actually).
The best strategy is to block your enemies – so they’re slowed down while your horse
regenerates it’s stamina. It’s a bit tricky: you have to maneuver them into obstacles,
use small passages or curves. – It’s important to gain a sense of the game mechanics…
Here is some footage so you get a better idea: If your opponent is in front of you, that’s
not a big deal if you have enough stamina left. It’s also important to have knowledge
about the track – so you know how much stamina you possibly need to cross the finish line!
You don’t want to decelerate in the last quarter of the track!
Riding against two opponents is a special challenge. Use the same strategy and keep
one eye on the minimap to pick your best chances to drag them both. – Sometimes it could be
really close! If this video was helpful leave a comment
