Winger Man Charged After Driving Vehicle Into Horse-Drawn Wagon

INDIVIDUALS AND CASINO PERSONNEL WERE STANDING.>>>A WINGER, MINNESOTA MAN HAS BEEN CHARGED WITH CRIMINAL VEHICULAR OPERATION AND 4TH DEGREE DWI AFTER ALLEGEDLY DRIVING HIS VEHICLE INTO A HORSE DRAWN BUGGY AND INJURING THE MAN DRIVING THE BUGGY. 59-YEAR-OLD DENNIS OMANG WAS ARRESTED ON OCTOBER 19TH AFTER HIS VEHICLE COLLIDED WITH THE BUGGY ON COUNTY ROAD 1 IN MAHNOMEN COUNTY. ACCORDING TO CRIMINAL COMPLAINT, OMANG STRUCK THE BUGGY DRIVEN BY 35-YEAR-OLD DENNIS BONTRAGER. BONTRAGER WAS FOUND LAYING ON THE ROAD WITH LARGE LACERATIONS ON HIS HEAD, UNABLE TO WALK AND SEMI-CONSCIOUS. HIS CURRENT CONDITION IS NOT KNOWN. OMANG ADMITTED TO DRINKING THAT EVENING AND FAILED BOTH A SOBRIETY TEST AND A BREATHALYZER.
